Guided by values of efficiency, effectiveness, professionalism, and integrity, we've built a reputation as a leader in addiction recovery services.What You'll DoAs a Licensed Psychiatrist at SCAC, you will be an integral part of the treatment team, responsible for providing critical psychiatric services that support client recovery. Your key responsibilities include:

Conducting psychiatric assessments and completing timely written reports.
Prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications as appropriate.
Providing follow-up care, evaluating medication efficacy, and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
Collaborating with medical staff, counselors, clients, and significant others to develop and coordinate personalized recovery plans.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with state, federal, and agency regulations.
Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and presenting cases as needed to ensure comprehensive client care.

A current active psychiatric license to practice in New Jersey
3+ years of relevant experience in addiction treatment or mental health services
