Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – Atlantic City, NJHourly Compensation: Up to $65/hr | Full-Time | K-12 CaseloadConnected Health Care is seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students in Atlantic City, NJ. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact by working directly with students, educators, and families to promote positive behavioral growth and academic success.Job Responsibilities:Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to evaluate student behaviors and develop effective intervention strategies.Design and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) that address emotional regulation, social interaction, and academic engagement.Supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), paraprofessionals, and educators in the application of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including teachers, school psychologists, counselors, and special education staff, to ensure student success.Provide direct ABA therapy and social-emotional learning support to students in both individual and group settings.Utilize data collection and analysis to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.Lead crisis intervention and de-escalation training for staff, promoting a safe and supportive learning environment.Attend IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings to advocate for student needs and contribute to customized learning plans.Offer staff training and professional development on positive reinforcement, behavior management techniques, and ABA best practices.Qualifications & Requirements:Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.New Jersey BCBA licensure (or eligibility to obtain).Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.At least 2 years of experience in a school setting, working with students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), emotional/behavioral disorders, or other developmental disabilities.Strong expertise in ABA principles, FBAs, and BIPs.Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and administrators.Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and progress tracking.Why You’ll Love Working in Atlantic City, NJBeachfront Living & Famous Boardwalk – Spend your free time by the ocean, exploring shops, restaurants, and amusement parks.Outdoor Adventures – Enjoy fishing, boating, or nature walks at the Edwin B.
