Northwell Health’s Department of Behavioral Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our Behavioral Health team at Westchester. We are recruiting two highly motivated practitioners to lead our Child & Adolescent Practice and our Behavioral Health Center.


This is a unique opportunity as Northwell Health is launching a comprehensive behavioral health program to expand access for children and adolescents, spearheaded by Northwell’s

. The initiative includes partnerships with community organizations and schools, a new behavioral health center, outpatient psychiatric practice, patient navigation, and eventually, intensive outpatient services.

By summer 2025, a stand-alone behavioral health center will open to provide rapid access to care for children and adolescents in crisis. The final phase will introduce an intensive outpatient program supporting youth who need higher care than outpatient services but do not require hospitalization.
