Saz's Catering is hiring a Banquet Chef for our Milwaukee location in Walkers Point. You'll lead kitchen operations for high-volume off-premise catering events with diverse menu requirements. This full-time, salaried role offers competitive compensation based on your experience.
What You'll Do
- Lead shifts at our permanent facility and various event venues throughout the region
- Manage and develop culinary team members through scheduling and performance management
- Oversee food production and quality control to maintain consistent standards and profitability
- Ensure food safety compliance via HACCP procedures, internal inspections, and health department coordination
- Develop standard operating procedures for ordering, recipe development, and training standards
- Collaborate on menu development with our Executive Chef for seasonal and custom offerings
- Assist with daily operations including inventory control, product ordering, and equipment maintenance
- Execute off-site catering setups by operating mobile kitchens at client venues
- Foster teamwork and cooperation between culinary, service, and warehouse teams
- Support multiple company divisions as needed and directed by the Corporate Executive Chef
