The role of the File Intake Coordinator is to be the primary point of contact for our Mortgage Premium Product (MPP) Correspondent Lenders and for ensuring the timely and accurate initial file review and closing package review. Responsibilities include but not limited to tracking loan submissions and closing package submissions. Completing loan review, data input and corresponding with clients when additional information is required.

The File Intake Coordinator will monitor quality loans from MPP Correspondent Lenders efficiently to ensure high satisfaction and return business. After one year as a File Intake Coordinator, you will know you were successful if you can confidently and independently do the following…

  • Monitor and manage file intake and closing package intake queues to ensure time guarantees are met.
  • Respond to Correspondent Lenders who have questions through emails promptly, acting as liaison between clients, internal operations, and third-party vendors.
  • Strong attention to detail, using submitted customer documents to compare to data input updating Loan Operation System (LOS) where required.
  • Keep up to date of product parameters, communicating any necessary oversights to manager.
  • Use Daily Reports and LOS task lists to track the progress of loans and monitor turn times to ensure loans have not exceeded the turn times according to the Service Level Agreement.
  • Clear or escalate inaccuracies on conditions.
  • Communicate with the manager on any issues that need to be elevated regarding loan packages and closing packages received.
  • Provide operational support for the team.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients and internal partners.
  • Perform data input and standard clerical work as needed.
  • Work directly with File Review Manager, reporting any inconsistencies, system issues, ideas and performance enhancements.
Requirements:


What we are looking for…

  • High School education required; college preferred
  • Mortgage experience in the areas of Loan Processing, Correspondent File Review, Data Input or Client Support.
  • Familiar with common mortgage documents.
  • Strong computer skills, ability to maneuver and complete with accuracy all data input and review
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must be customer service oriented, able to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and written.
  • Strong organizational skills required with the ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Be knowledgeable of Agency, Non-Agency, and Government product guidelines.
