Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Art Therapist to join our team at Hasten Hebrew Academy of Indianapolis. In this role, you will provide essential mental health support and counseling to our students, grades K-8, helping them navigate their emotional and behavioral challenges while contributing to their overall development.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students addressing various mental health needs.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each student's unique circumstances.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and progress notes for all therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a supportive educational environment.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques such as art therapy, dance therapy, and behavioral therapy.
• Conduct assessments to evaluate students' mental health status and progress.

Requirements

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field required.
• Licensure as a therapist or counselor in the state of Indiana preferred.
• Strong understanding of mental health issues affecting children and adolescents.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with staff and families.
• Experience in group therapy settings is highly desirable.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
