Director of ABA Services-(Lead BCBA) Responsibilities:

As the Director of ABA Services-(Lead BCBA) at Aviation ABA, you will:

  • Provide oversight and mentorship to BCBAs, ensuring clinical quality and that billable hour targets are met.
  • Help shape and drive the company’s clinical vision, goals, and mission through strategic leadership.
  • Lead efforts in creating and maintaining clinical policies, procedures, and systems that align with organizational standards.
  • Serve as a clinical role model and point of leadership for new and existing BCBAs joining the team.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop, refine, and standardize clinical policies, procedures, and protocols across the state.
  • Act as a key clinical contact for staff, offering leadership on clinical and operational matters.
  • Assist in onboarding and training new BCBAs and RBTs to uphold company standards.
  • Lead internal staff trainings and facilitate professional development sessions.
  • Conduct initial assessments, reassessments, and generate progress reports
  • Design and implement individualized ABA treatment and behavior intervention plans.
  • Maintain a small caseload, ensuring high-quality, hands-on clinical care.
  • Provide direct supervision, training, and ongoing support to RBTs/BTs.
  • Deliver parent training and caregiver guidance using evidence-based strategies.
  • Perform functional behavior assessments and data-driven program evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations, ethical standards, and quality benchmarks.
  • Conduct regular documentation audits, treatment plan reviews, and quality checks.
  • Support clinic operations, including scheduling, staffing coordination, and clinical troubleshooting.

Director of ABA Services-(Lead BCBA) Qualifications:

  • Certification: Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and UT LBA (or eligibility).
  • Education: Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, Special Education, or a related field.
  • Certifications: (Preferred) Safety Care Specialist certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience: Previous leadership or supervisory experience in ABA is preferred.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to provide in-home support when needed.
  • Transportation: Reliable vehicle for local travel.
