Job Description:
The Lead Registered Behavior Technician offers support in clinical areas as needed while continuing to provide excellent clinical care to the student(s) included in the Lead RBT’s primary assignment. The School Lead RBT is under the direct assignment and supervision of both the Behavioral Clinical Supervisor and Area Manager. The Behavioral Clinical Supervisor will provide training and oversight of clinical tasks as needed. In the event that the local CS is unavailable or on leave, an alternate CS or RBCS will be assigned to support the Lead RBT.

The Lead Registered Behavior Technician will work closely with clients, their families, and other professionals to implement individualized treatment plans and promote positive behavioral changes.
Duties
- Provide per diem staffing support as needed while maintaining regular provider assignments, ensuring consistent application of ABA strategies through direct behavioral intervention services to assigned clients/students.
- Monitor and evaluate behavioral data to assess client/student progress, identify behavioral patterns, and collaborate with the Clinical Supervisor to determine appropriate treatment adjustments.
- Perform School Site visits as requested by Clinical Supervisor or Area Manager except when site visits, by contract, require a Clinical Supervisor.
- Communicate effectively with students, district staff, and Ro Health providers to promote a collaborative environment focused on client success.
- Communicate with the Clinical Supervisor and Area Manager to ensure tasks are completed and documented correctly in a timely manner with documentation requiring co-signature from the Clinical Supervisor.
- The Lead RBT supports and trains other non-instructional paraprofessionals, instructional paraprofessionals, behavior class aides and RBTs, ensuring they are competent in implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Attend and participate in annual provider skills training to stay current with best practices.
- Conduct provider skills training as needed throughout the year under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor.
- Other tasks as assigned by the Clinical Supervisor or Area Manager such as assisting on FBAs which could include indirect/direct interviews and collecting ABC data through observations.
Requirements
- Must hold an active RBT certification through the BACB
- Highly preferred a minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as an RBT in various settings, including schools, in-home, and clinical environments.
- Bachelor’s degree required - preferably in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Psychology, Education or a related field. (Master’s degree preferred)
- Supervisory experience highly preferred - must have demonstrated expertise in training, mentoring, and overseeing behavior analysis strategies, ensuring effective implementation and collaboration among RBTs and/or other behavior analysis professionals.
- Demonstrates interest in clinical advancement within the company and a commitment to professional growth in the field.
- Must be interviewed by the clinical supervisor who will be overseeing or recommended by a Clinical Supervisor and evaluated by the Regional Senior CS
