Join Coronado Healing, PLLC – Licensed Therapists (LCSW,LMFT, LMHC)

At Coronado Healing, PLLC, we offer the best of both worlds: the freedom and independence of a solo practice (set your own hours, virtual) combined with the support, learning, and development of a successful group practice. We handle all administrative work—except for notes, phone consultations, and treatment plans—so you can focus on what you do best: caring for your clients.

Employment Type: Contractor - 1099 (requires personal malpractice insurance)

Compensation: Fee for service

• $60 for insured clients and sliding scale clients (paid for no-shows/late cancels for ongoing sessions, when the client is charged a fee as per policy)
• $75 for private pay clients (non-sliding scale) and group sessions

Job Description:

• Provide counseling, therapy, and/or psychotherapy to clients as appropriate
• Prepare treatment plans and discharge plans
• Conduct 53-minute sessions based on talk therapy and supported evidence-based practice
• Collect data about patients through interviews, case history, and/or observational techniques; evaluate data to identify causes of problems and determine proper therapeutic approaches or referrals to other specialists
• Submit client documentation within 24 hours of providing service
• Build and maintain a caseload of a minimum of 15 weekly clients
• Offer free 15-minute phone consultations

Minimum Job Requirements:

• LCSW designation or equivalent in a directly related field
• Ability to be credentialed on top insurance panels (requires permanent LCSW/LMHC license—no permit, LMSW, or limited license)
• Obtain individual malpractice insurance
• Ability to work at least 15 (53-minute) sessions a week (caseload)
• Strong understanding of digital EHR platforms

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• Ability to apply mental health counseling methods and techniques
• Knowledge and understanding of clinical counseling principles, programs, and methodology
• Knowledge and understanding of clinical social work and mental health counseling principles, methods, procedures, and standards
• Knowledge of legal and ethical issues related to patients' rights
