Master's Mental Health Therapist/Counselor (LSW, LPC ,MFT) - School Based Position


Earn Up to $55,000 per year based on Licensure Status, Experience, and Secondary Languages


Up to $3,000 Sign on Bonus for Qualified Candidates

As a clinician at Chrysalis Health, you will have the opportunity to provide individual and family therapy to a diverse population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Therapy sessions will be conducted primarily in School, but have an opportunity to do in Home, in Office, and fully remote via Telehealth. Provider must be Licensed in the State of Ohio.

Impactful Client Care Responsibilities:

  • Assess and determine the comprehensive mental health needs of clients with an array of patient ages and diagnoses

  • Conducts and documents client screenings, psychosocial assessments, progress notes, and referral information.

  • Deliver services to clients in the community particularly in the assigned School District

  • Utilize evidenced based practices to enhance clinical outcomes of clients

  • Identifies resource requirements necessary to fulfill identified needs.

  • Collaborates with caregivers, physicians, school counselors and other health care professionals to ensure optimal client care.

  • Advocates for patient access to community resources

  • Communicates treatment plans and progress to patients, families, and other healthcare professionals

  • Facilitates and offers individual and family therapy on psycho-social issues such as coping skills, stress reduction, and caregiver support.

  • Demonstrates professionalism to reassure patients of their care by a skilled and compassionate professional.


Candidate Requirements:


  • Must be licensed in the State of Ohio as a Social Worker (LSW, LISW, LISW-S) or Professional Counselor (LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S) or Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT, IMFT) with a minimum 1-year experience providing services to persons with mental illness and/or substance use conditions with children, adolescents, adults, and families preferred.
  • Must like and have experience working with children, adolescents, and teenagers.
  • Understanding of developmental trauma, family systems, and somatic experience, or willing to learn.
  • Compassionate, engaging, and have a strong desire to help others.
  • Provide weekly individual and family therapy utilizing evidenced-based practices.
  • Complete and submit required documentation within certain timeframes.
  • Attend monthly clinical supervision.
  • Ability to flex hours to meet client scheduling needs.
  • Organizational and Time allocation skill abilities, and to flex hours to meet client scheduling needs
  • Ability to utilize self-care techniques to best manage to achieve OPTimal work life balance
  • Ability to document therapy services in electronic medical records (EMR) platform.
