About Job

Write your next chapter:

You don't have to commute to make a difference. Help us help others from the comfort of your home with this fully remote telehealth opportunity. We need trained and licensed counselors and therapists to help make a difference for our underserved communities as we face mental health and substance abuse challenges in rural Ohio.

What do you need for this opportunity? A Master's degree in Social work or Clinical Counseling with an LISW/LPCC or higher, valid in the state of Ohio. Five (5)+ year's post-licensure counseling work experience with documented supervision. Previous experience working in a remote setting and in community behavioral health is highly preferred.

We supply all the equipment that you'll need to be successful. You will only need to supply the passion to help others, an adequate and reliable internet connection, a private and secure workplace, and experience working in virtual platforms. In this role you will regularly use various computer apps including Microsoft Office, our HRIS, EHR and other online systems, with multiple logins often simultaneously.

How you'll make a difference:

Under the guidance of our Telehealth Supervisor, you can help make a difference for underserved rural communities by providing a range of assessment and mental health counseling and therapy to children, adolescents, adults and families. Help your clients in active change-oriented treatment by identifying and overcoming barriers to engagement.

Make an impact with your clients by providing crisis intervention and emergency services as the needs arise and develop treatment plans with your clients. You will also record your client's progress, complete client instruments, and maintain necessary records and files.

You will maintain a strengths-based approach while working with your clients. You will also establish a mutually respectful relationship and implement interventions that are necessary to meet the needs of your clients in a team based environment.

Complete referrals to other agency programs or external service providers as deemed clinically appropriate.
