Position Summary
Join ReNew Wound Care as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (RN) and take the lead in optimizing care coordination and advancing wound care solutions. In this impactful role, you’ll combine your clinical expertise with operational savvy to streamline processes, support healthcare providers, and improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership & Patient Coordination
Act as a clinical expert in wound care and skin substitute application.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to assess patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
Serve as the main communication link between patients, providers, and facilities.
Insurance & Prior Authorization Management
Perform insurance verifications and initiate prior authorizations for treatments.
Ensure compliance and timely approvals by reviewing clinical documentation.
Communicate updates to providers to prevent treatment delays.
Product Tracking & Invoice Management
Manage invoicing and verify product identification numbers for accuracy.
Track product usage, assignments, and allocation for reporting and compliance.
Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination
Coordinate timely product deliveries based on treatment schedules.
Monitor inventory levels and proactively manage supply orders.
Facility Communication & Patient Status Updates
Confirm patient skilled status with care facilities before procedures.
Keep providers informed to ensure care plans align with facility updates.
Qualifications
Active RN license (state-specific).
Clinical experience in wound care, dermatology, or similar fields preferred.
Familiarity with insurance verification and prior authorization processes.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Work Environment
Office-based with frequent virtual collaboration across healthcare teams.
Remote work flexibility available based on performance and company policy.
