JusticeWorks YouthCare is seeking a SWAN Permanency Specialist! In this role, you will provide essential services to families and children in the foster care system who need permanency and stability in their lives. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships with local and state adoption agencies in order to ensure children in foster care have access to resources that support their long-term success. Additionally, you will work to improve the legal and emotional permanency outcomes for children and families involved in the adoption and foster care system. If you are passionate about working in the field of child welfare, juvenile justice or social work, then this is the job for you!

The qualified SWAN Permanency Specialist will:
  • Act as the child’s advocate, ensuring their voice and needs are prioritized throughout the permanency process, including legal proceedings, meetings, and family counseling sessions.Provide/facilitate training to pre-adoptive families as required.
  • Work closely with social workers, adoption agencies, legal teams, and other professionals involved in the permanency process to ensure coordinated and effective service delivery.
  • Meet all benchmarks as outlined by SWAN.
The qualified SWAN Permanency Specialist will have:
  • High School Diploma is required.
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and access to a vehicle.
  • Pass current, applicable clearances.
  • Pass pre-employment, post-offer drug screening.
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends.
