The Board Certified Behavior Analyst will work collaboratively with a team of professionals to support individuals in residential and community settings. Along with working with a team of interdisciplinary professionals to provide support to an assigned client group. This role requires excellent communication, organizational, documentation and teaching skills to support CI’s clients, their families and the support team(s) responsible for their care.

The position will:

  • Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the functions of challenging behaviors
  • Develop and implement individualized behavior support plans (BSPs) based on assessment results
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior support plans and modify as needed
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other professionals, to develop comprehensive care plans
  • Train and support direct support professionals and other team members in implementing behavior intervention strategies
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust interventions as necessary
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
  • Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and professional development activities
  • Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA)

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
  • Current BCBA certification in good standing
  • At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or Autism
  • Strong understanding of ABA principles and techniques
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and report writing
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and other clinical documentation systems is preferred
