About Job

We are looking for a substance use disorder counselor to support members of the mental health and substance use disorder community. The role includes meeting regularly with clients, establishing goals and treatment plans, updating the plans, writing progress notes, monitoring progress, and working as part of a team. We expect high attention to detail, compassion, excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills, a positive community reputation, and critical thinking skills. Applicants must have the ability to manage a caseload and accurately complete documentation within time limits established by MaineCare, be able to utilize Microsoft programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Counseling will be provided individually and/or in a group setting.

Positions are available in both our Livermore Falls and our new Augusta office.

Pay is depending upon education and experience.

Individuals with the MHRT/C are eligible to sit for the CADC exam and will be considered.

Benefits include tuition matching up to $1,200 per year through a Compact Grant, a flexible schedule including a 3-day weekend, and paid holidays for full-time employees.
