A highly regarded, licensed, not-for-profit, substance use prevention agency located in Southern Westchester, is seeking a Program Director to manage and develop a variety of well-received community programs.
The Director will:
· Supervise a small number of professional program staff who provide Individual, Group, and Family Counseling, as well as the presentation of evidence-based school curriculum in elementary, middle, and high school settings, and will develop, monitor, and adjust an annual work-plan of those specific programs.
· Effectively coordinate agency efforts with the agency board of directors, community school administration, local government, as well as county and state oversight agencies.
· Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with clients between the ages of 5-20, their families, and other community stakeholders.
Requirements:
· Advanced Social Work degree or related discipline with current LCSW license from New York State preferred. Other certifications related to social work or mental health will be considered
· 3+ years of professional experience. Direct supervisory experience, and language proficiency in Spanish is extremely desirable.
· Knowledge of OASAS programs preferred, but not required
The salary range for this position is $65,000 – $70,000, commensurate with experience.
