About Job

As part of our mission to pave the way for children's success worldwide, Therapy Source is seeking a part-time Licensed Professional Counselor to provide in-person services for charter school students. This position is for the next school year.

Licensed Counselor Schedule:

  • Part-Time (21 hours / 3-5 days per week)
  • School Hours: 8:00 am - 3:30 pm
  • Flexible Scheduling

Licensed Counselor Qualifications:

  • Valid Pennsylvania Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential, issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors.
  • Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
  • Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)

School Counselor or Social Worker Responsibilities Include:

  • Identifying and assessing students in need of trauma support
  • Conducting trauma-informed therapy and counseling interventions for at-risk students in individual, group, or family settings
  • Responding to progress monitoring results and student assessment data
  • Providing case management and direct intervention to students and families experiencing trauma, including those from low-income households, those who are homeless or in foster care, and students involved in the criminal justice system or experiencing mental illness or substance abuse disorder.
