Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health services to clients, focusing on their emotional, psychological, and social well-being. This role involves working with diverse populations, including the elderly, and requires expertise in various therapeutic techniques and crisis management. The LCSW will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and facilitate group therapy sessions while ensuring a supportive environment for all clients.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess client needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for clients.
  • Engage in crisis management interventions to support clients in acute distress.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Stay informed about current research and best practices in social work and mental health.
  • Support special education needs for children requiring additional assistance.
  • Utilize medical terminology effectively in communication with healthcare teams.
  • Advocate for clients' needs within the healthcare system and community resources.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Experience working with geriatric populations, or individuals with special education needs is preferred.
  • Proficiency in crisis management techniques and therapeutic interventions.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology related to mental health care.
  • Ability to conduct research relevant to social work practices and client care.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a compassionate approach to client interactions.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards in social work.
