General Summary:

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst will develop ABA based intervention treatment plans, implement or ensure the implementation of ABA treatment plans by RBTs/BTs, monitor progress, and evaluate the effectiveness of plans for the child and family as directed by the Children’s Services Program Coordinator.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Direct Supervision of RBTs/BTs
  • Directly observing treatment plan implementation for potential program revision
  • Directly monitor treatment to ensure satisfactory implementation of treatment protocols
  • Directing staff and parents/caregivers in the implementation of new or revised treatment protocols with the child/client present
  • Develop treatment plan
  • Implement or ensure implementation of the treatment plan
  • Assessment of the RBTs/BT skills and implementation of treatment protocols
  • Assessment of the client’s skills and functional behaviors
  • Summarize and analyze data for the client’s behavior objectives
  • Supervise and provide satisfactory implementation of treatment protocols/objectives
  • Provide 2 hours of supervision for every 10 hours of direct treatment, with at least 1 hour being direct supervision
  • Evaluate client progress toward treatment goals/objectives
  • Provide clinical direction of intervention and case management for the client
  • Adjust treatment protocols/objectives based on data
  • Monitor treatment integrity
  • Evaluate risk management and crisis management
  • Develop and oversee transition/discharge plans

Education, Certificates and Licensures:

Must be board certified by the Board of Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), First Aid/CPR certification required or obtaining.

Requirements:

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst will adhere to the Guidelines for Responsible Conduct for Behavior Analysts and The Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts. The Board Certified Behavior Analyst’s schedule will be provided by the supervisor based on client need. A general expectation for the position will be a caseload range of 10-12 clients and 30 billable hours per week.
