Essential Job Functions (Including but not limited to):
- Keeps equipment available for use by inspecting and testing, completing preventive maintenance such as, disassembly, inspection, reassembly, function test, final inspection, and proper packaging.
- Maintains equipment’s functional condition by listening to operator/customer complaints; conducting inspections; repairing equipment failures; repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components; repairing cosmetic damage.
- Verifies equipment serviceability by conducting a second party inspection and/or test operating.
- Complies with service requirements by testing operations, safety, and Quality control standards.
- Maintains equipment and its packaging appearance by cleaning, washing, and painting.
- Maintains equipment records by recording service and repairs.
- Keeps shop tools and equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance.
- Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
- Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Assists in assembly of new products and prototype equipment.
- Provide support in the areas of:
- Inventory Control.
- Logistics in the Shipping & Receiving area.
- Warehouse organization and cleanliness.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe & similar programs.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Understand, develop, and implement processes and procedures.
- Works with other team members, highly flexible, "Get it Done" attitude.
- Time management skills, the ability to schedule and prioritize tasks unsupervised
- Mechanical aptitude or ability to learn about our products & service and retain the information.
- Experience operating material handling equipment (forklift, scissor lift, etc.)
Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
- This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Overtime hours as needed.
Work Environment:
- This position works in a workshop setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, and standard workshop equipment such as forklifts, hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers.
Travel:
- Minimal travel as required by Mactech.
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Previous experience and technical expertise in a similar position.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
- Must have a valid Driver license, or State issued photo ID
- Successful completion and passing of fit for duty physicals, background checks and drug & alcohol testing programs.
Compensation details: 20-25 Hourly Wage
