Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to improving the lives of individuals and families in need. This role involves providing support, guidance, and resources to clients facing various challenges, including mental health issues, addiction, and family dynamics. The Social Worker will work collaboratively with other professionals to develop effective treatment plans and ensure the well-being of clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop appropriate intervention strategies.
• Provide crisis intervention and management for clients in acute distress.
• Offer counseling services, including addiction counseling and motivational interviewing techniques.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies to coordinate care for clients.
• Supervise and mentor interns or junior staff as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Advocate for clients' rights and access to necessary services, including Medicare and child welfare programs.
• Facilitate workshops or support groups focused on workforce development and behavioral health topics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field is required.
• Experience in childcare, behavioral health, crisis management, or addiction counseling is preferred.
• Strong skills in crisis intervention and the ability to manage high-stress situations effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
• Knowledge of community resources and social service programs is advantageous.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards in social work practice.
• Must have a LCWS LICENSE

Pay: $60,622.00 - $65,910.00 per year
