Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Program Director (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) to join our team at our Adult Residential Facility . The Program Director will provide clinical leadership, supervision, and direct services to clients in a supportive, structured environment. Job Summary:

The Program Director (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) will oversee the clinical operations of the facility, ensuring that clients receive high-quality care and support. Responsibilities include carrying a caseload of clients, conducting group therapy sessions, coordinating with community partners, and supervising the case management team. This role also involves developing and implementing treatment plans, facilitating interdisciplinary care team meetings, and ensuring adherence to documentation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Caseload Management: Carry a caseload of clients, conducting weekly check-ins and maintaining treatment goals and progress updates.
  • Group Facilitation: Facilitate daily therapy groups on topics including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Relapse Prevention.
  • Collaboration: Communicate and collaborate with county case managers, public guardians, and other community partners to coordinate client care.
  • Assessment and Intervention: Provide ongoing assessment and therapeutic intervention, ensuring interventions align with clients’ physical and psychological needs.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide leadership and clinical supervision to the case management team, including employees pursuing licensure.
  • Documentation and Auditing: Oversee case management team documentation, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Staff Training and Development: Assist with onboarding new case management staff and provide ongoing training to support their professional growth.
  • Interdisciplinary Team Participation: Actively engage in interdisciplinary care team meetings to ensure holistic client care.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned or needed to ensure the efficient operation of the facility.

Qualifications:

Education and Licensure:

o Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) or Professional Clinical Counselor (PCC) from an accredited institution.

o Current, active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California.

o Approved by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) to provide supervision to case managers/interns pursuing hours towards licensure.

Experience:

o Minimum of 2 years post-graduate direct clinical experience in a mental health or substance use setting.

o At least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role within a relevant setting.

Skills and Abilities:

o Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in person and over the phone.

o Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

o Ability to perform well under pressure and resolve conflicts efficiently.

o Positive interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams and clients.

o Demonstrates sound decision-making, initiative, and the ability to work independently.

o Compassion for and commitment to working in a mental health environment.

Additional Requirements:

o Must meet all health requirements, including TB testing.

o Must pass a criminal background check.

o Strong commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and professional standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $110,000.00 per year
