We’re seeking a talented, part-time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our school-based services team in Dallas, Texas.


Professional License Requirements:

Applicants are required to have the following, legally mandated certifications. Applicants without these requirements will not be considered.

  • Hold a master’s degree in Counseling
  • Have active state-level licensure as an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor)


What to expect from this role:

Experience working in schools or with children is a plus but not required.

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy
  • Apply psychological principles, methodology, and techniques designed to modify behavior
  • Perform crisis evaluation and behavioral intervention as needed
  • Work in coordination with school personnel and parents to develop appropriate programs for eligible students
  • Maintain appropriate records
  • Collaborate in the development and implementation of an effective treatment plan based on the individual’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
  • Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations
  • Perform other LPC duties/responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and/or certification
