Position Overview
We are looking for a caring and committed Behavior Technician to provide in-home, 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism and other developmental needs. In this role, you’ll support children in building essential life, social, and independence skills through personalized care rooted in research-based methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct support during daily tasks, play activities, and community involvement
- Encourage independence and growth during every therapy session
- Implement and contribute to behavior plans created by a supervising BCBA
- Document behavioral data, session summaries, and client updates accurately
- Stay in close communication with your supervisor and participate in required training and supervision
- Maintain a safe, confidential environment and comply with HIPAA regulations
- Assist with light household tasks or transportation support when necessary
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- Prior experience with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
- Must have a valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable vehicle
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, remain physically engaged, and react quickly when needed
- Comfortable with traveling up to 30 minutes to client homes
- Committed to obtaining Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within 90 days (training provided)
- Ability to pass a criminal background screening
