Summary

We are seeking a LCSW, LSW, LAMFT, LMFT or LPC to join our practice at Maplewood Counseling. In this role, you will work with individuals and couples, utilizing your expertise in emotionally focused therapy and mindfulness to help clients navigate their relationship challenges. Your contributions will be vital in fostering healthier connections among our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and couples therapy using evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy and emotionally focused therapy.
• Conduct thorough assessments and diagnostic evaluations to inform treatment plans.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.

Requirements

• Valid LSW, LCSW, LAMFT, LMFT, LPC license in the state of New Jersey.
• Experience in group therapy and crisis management is essential.
• Knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy techniques is required.
• Familiarity with special education needs is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
