Mission Ready Reserve (MRR) Military & Family Life Counselor

Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc., is seeking Mission Ready Reserve (MRR) Adult Military & Family Life Counselors (MFLC) to provide on-call behavioral health services to military service members and their families. This role offers a part-time, on-demand opportunity across North Dakota, filling in when coverage is needed.

Locations We Serve:

  • North Dakota: Minot AFB | Grand Forks AFB

In This Role, You Will:

  • Provide face-to-face counseling for military service members and their families, focusing on life skills, stress management, adjustment issues, marital problems, parenting challenges, and grief/loss
  • Offer behavioral health counseling to assist with military-related transitions, such as returning from deployment, adjusting to new assignments, and strengthening relationships
  • Conduct health and wellness presentations and training for service members and families in collaboration with installation leadership
  • Work closely with installation Points of Contact (POCs) to ensure services align with contract requirements and community needs

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Master's degree in a Behavioral Health profession (MS, MSW, MA)
  • Valid, unrestricted counseling license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LCPC, LMHC) – Licenses from other states may be accepted
  • Not Eligible: LADC and LMSW licenses, or clinicians under supervision
  • Strong understanding of military life and experience working with military families
  • Ability to work independently and develop effective intervention strategies
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and fluent in English
  • Must pass background and suitability checks, including installation-specific requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous military service or strong familiarity with military culture
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
