Mental Health Residential Advisor- Part Time


Location:
Asheville, NC


Schedule:

  • Part Time- 24 hours per week
  • Thursday - Saturday 3 pm – 11 pm

Salary:
$17.00 per hour and increases based on experience


Responsibilities:

  • Provides relationship-oriented coaching and support to residents and attaining their goals
  • Assures the health and safety of resident and responds immediately to concerns and completes check-ins
  • Participates and encourages participation of residents in recreational, social, and cultural activities
  • Facilitates spontaneous social experiences for residents who are not participating in scheduled activities
  • Supports residents with room cleaning and helps out in general with the cleaning of common areas of the building
  • Transports residents to scheduled appointments as needed
  • Is a first responder for on-call services in the evening hours
  • Responsible for documentation for assigned residents


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience working with individuals whose lives are impeded by mental illness
  • 21 years or older with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record to be on organization’s auto insurance
