Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients to improve their behavioral health and overall quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based interventions based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, therapists, and family members, to ensure cohesive care.
- Provide training and support to staff on behavioral strategies and interventions.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess client needs and inform treatment decisions.
- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in behavioral health and special education.
Requirements
- Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) is required.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Proficiency in medical terminology, patient assessment, and medical documentation practices.
- Knowledge of special education principles and practices is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills for conducting diagnostic evaluations and developing effective treatment strategies.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
