Coastal Behavior Analysis is comprised of a group of professionals dedicated to serving individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders and behavior problems. Our team consists of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and Clinical Psychologists. Together we aim to improve the lives of our clients as well as their families.

Our early intervention clinic (Center for Autism Research and Education) and our administrative offices are centrally located in Vero Beach, Florida.

We have immediate openings for BCBAs, with full-time caseloads available.

Primary Role:

BCBAs are responsible for overseeing client programs and ensuring progress is being made towards their goals. Case managers also are the primary point of contact for their clients’ parents, ensure that authorizations for services remain active and up to date, and ensure that all providers on their cases are adequately trained and supervised.

Responsibilities:

  • Working 1:1 with clients
  • Creating programs based on client goals
  • Creating and updating BIPs
  • Creating and maintaining client datasheets and graphs
  • Submitting client authorizations
  • Overseeing necessary skill and problem behavior assessments
  • Communicating any and all programmatic changes to all direct therapists on the case
  • Reviewing graphs on a regular basis
  • Making programmatic changes based on client data
  • Maintaining records of mastered data and goals
  • Training and supervising all direct providers
  • Communicating with the client’s parents on a regular basis regarding client progress and any concerns
  • Collaborating with the client’s other providers, per parent request and as appropriate
  • Following the BACB Professional and Ethical Code of Conduct

Qualifications:

  • Certification with the Behavior Analysis Certification Board
  • Must maintain credentialing in compliance with BACB
  • Must complete supervision courses as outlined by the BACB
  • Demonstrate leadership skills
  • Communicate well in both verbal and written forms
  • Collaborate well with others
  • Experience with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities

Required Certification:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) (Required)
