We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and special education, with a focus on providing high-quality care to individuals with developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will play a crucial role in assessing, designing, and implementing behavior intervention plans to enhance the quality of life for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify behavioral challenges and needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client goals.
- Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions and monitor progress regularly.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators, therapists, and family members, to ensure cohesive care.
- Provide training and support to staff and caregivers on behavior management techniques.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and data collection.
- Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of behavioral analysis.
Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working in behavioral health or related fields is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of special education practices and medical terminology.
- Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in data collection methods and analysis related to behavior interventions.
- Familiarity with medical records management is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
