Job Title: Community Liaison
Reports To: The Myland Director

Employment Type: Full-Time (Salaried + Commission)
Salary: $50,000 annually + commission + gas stipend + telehealth/dental/vision benefits
Position Overview
The Community Liaison serves as the public-facing representative of Myland Homecare across 15 Metro Atlanta counties. This role is responsible for increasing community awareness, generating qualified leads and referrals, building local partnerships, and supporting the growth of Myland’s CCSP, SOURCE, GAPP, and private pay services.
Community Liaisons are mission-driven, results-oriented, and passionate about building bridges between Myland and the people and organizations who need our services the most.
Key Responsibilities: Community Outreach & Marketing
- Conduct face-to- face outreach with churches, DFCS offices, clinics, schools, and senior centers
- Represent Myland at community events, festivals, and fairs
- Distribute educational materials and maintain a consistent presence across all service counties
- Deliver presentations on Myland services (e.g., Medicaid waiver programs, GAPP, and private pay)
Referral & Lead Generation
- Build relationships with medical providers, social workers, case managers, and faith leaders
- Identify families and professionals in need of homecare services
- Collect and report qualified leads for intake and follow-up by the clinical team
- Support inbound and outbound referral pipelines
Volunteer Program Oversight
- Recruit, train, and manage community volunteers
- Coordinate volunteer participation at senior centers, events, and donation drives
- Maintain volunteer sign-in logs, orientation checklists, and schedules
Reporting & Administrative Tasks
- Submit weekly outreach reports, contact logs, and territory updates
- Maintain Google Sheets tracking tool for accountability and results
- Participate in weekly team huddles and monthly performance reviews
- Assist with Myland-hosted events (e.g., brunches, school drives, church health days)
Required Qualifications
- Passion for service, health equity, and local community engagement
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in the field
- Ability to speak confidently to diverse audiences
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout assigned counties
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, outreach, nonprofit, or education environments
- Familiarity with CCSP, SOURCE, and/or Medicaid programs
- Bilingual (Spanish preferred but not required)
- Existing ties to local church groups, DFCS offices, or school systems
