Alamo Health Management is looking for a Psychologist to join our corporate team (Alamo, CA) to oversee our 4 CA communities. We’re a growing organization that provides transitional housing and resident-centered care/ on-site wraparound services for clients suffering from mental health, addiction, and/or multiple diagnoses.

Must be board-certified, eligible to provide services. The candidate must be highly skilled in dealing with chronically mentally ill patients and have inpatient experience, preferably with a clinical psychology focus.

Essential Functions of the Job

•       Client evaluations & follow-ups

•       Diagnose clients and prospective clients in coordination with admission/assessment team

•       Monitor patients to determine the efficacy & potential side effects of treatments and medications in coordination with Psychiatrist

•       Develop a treatment plan, measure progress against the plan, & make adjustments as needed

•       Provide crisis intervention as needed

•       Complete all necessary clinical documentation in an accurate & timely manner

•       Provide regular reporting as required by public entity contracts

•       Collaborate with a broader team of physicians, psychiatrists, and nurses to assess & adjust treatment plans

•       Coordinate & communicate with case managers and facility staff about treatment and care

Qualifications

•       Must be a Licensed Psychologist and Position is located in CA.

•       Board eligible or board certification in psychology

•       Working experience in clinical psychology

•       Licensed to practice in California or in process of licensure

•       Strong working knowledge of general clinical psychology principles and practices

•       Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
