Contemporary Learning Center is a behavioral and curricular focused center providing intensive applied behavior analysis (ABA) in clinic, educational setting support, community skills preparedness, and parent/caregiver support for individuals and their families.

With our progressive and holistic educational and behavioral philosophy, we understand that each learner has unique needs and interests. We provide the environment and tools our learners need to thrive to the best of their abilities.

We focus on intensive clinic-based ABA Therapy in the Central Florida area for learners of all ages with developmental and intellectual disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADD/ADHD, Down syndrome, Global Developmental delay, and similar behavioral deficits.

Once our learners successfully meet their individual goals at Contemporary Learning Center, they’re fully prepared for the next stage of their lives.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at Contemporary Learning Center in our Longwood, FL location. We are seeking passionate and energetic BCBA's to change the lives of the children and families we serve. The BCBA role involves:

  • Developing and implementing behavior intervention plans
  • Training and supporting behavior technicians on behavioral principles
  • Training and supporting behavior technicians on behavior intervention plan procedures
  • Conducting functional behavior assessments
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, most often teacher and teacher assistants
  • Providing families with comprehensive support and training
  • Providing behavior analytic services to clients
  • Ensuring client engagement through an enriched environment
  • Assisting with clinic cleanliness and organization standards

Qualifications

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a BCBA
  • Medicaid Credential
  • Experience conducting FBA's and developing behavior intervention plans
  • Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and strategies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse needs
  • Experience working in educational or clinical settings
  • Familiarity with data collection and analysis methods
  • Commitment to the BACB's ethical standards and professional conduct
