*This position is for second shift 3 pm to 11 pm at a Level 3 group home for adolescent girls.

Shift hours are: 3 pm to 11 pm weekdays and some weekends.

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Professional to join our residential treatment team.

Residential Treatment Level III service is responsive to the need for intensive, active therapeutic intervention, which requires a staff secure treatment setting in order to be successfully implemented. Treatment is provided in a structured program setting.

As a direct care professional, you will work closely with professional supports, family members, and clients to provide support in a level 3 group home setting for adolescent females with mental health diagnoses.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in implementing behavior management strategies to create a positive and inclusive therapeutic environment.

- Provide care and support for adolescent females, ensuring their safety and well-being in a residential setting.

- Assist in the development and implementation of therapeutic materials, personal resources, and coping strategies.

- Includes relationship support to assist the beneficiary in managing the stress and discomfort associated with the process of change and maintenance of gains achieved earlier and specifically planned and implemented therapeutically focused interactions designed to assist the beneficiary in correcting various patterns of grossly inappropriate interpersonal behavior, as needed.

- Providing behavioral interventions and programmatic structure with specific interventions to address the most complex behavioral or treatment needs (e.g., house rules).

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or Equivalent

- Clean criminal background

- Willingness to be flexible with schedule changes

- A valid NC driver's license and reliable transportation

- Strong knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies

- Ability to assist with treatment planning and development of mental health interventions

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- A passion for working with adolescents and promoting post-traumatic growth

- Familiarity with trauma-focused principles and practices

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 per hour
