Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor – Join Our Supportive & Experienced Team!

Location: Ashland, KY
Schedule: Four-day workweek – Enjoy a three-day weekend!

  • Monday & Wednesday: 7:40 AM – 5:40 PM
  • Tuesday: 7:40 AM – 6:30 PM
  • Thursday: 7:40 AM – 3:00 PM

Compensation: Highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience + opportunity for additional performance-based incentives.

Aim Behavioral Health, an established practice with over 10 years of dedicated service in addiction treatment, is seeking a Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor to join our compassionate, patient-focused team. Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans
Provide addiction counseling and behavioral therapy to support patients in overcoming substance use challenges
Utilize evidence-based approaches, including crisis intervention and motivational interviewing, to empower patients in their recovery journey
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and effective care
Maintain accurate medical documentation while adhering to HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines

Requirements:

✔ Licensure as a substance abuse counselor or related qualification (LPCC, LCSW, etc.)
✔ Experience in addiction treatment preferred
✔ Strong commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care
