Role Responsibilities

As a Lead BCBA at Aviation ABA, you will:

  • Conduct initial assessments, reassessments, and generate detailed progress reports.
  • Develop and oversee individualized treatment and behavior support plans.
  • Supervise and train Behavior Technicians (BTs/RBTs) to ensure high-quality implementation of treatment plans.
  • Provide guidance and training to families and caregivers on managing behaviors and teaching replacement skills using ABA principles.
  • Perform functional assessments and analyses as needed.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness, recommend adjustments, and monitor progress through data collection and analysis.
  • Support the Clinic Director with daily operations, including scheduling and staff coordination.
  • Conduct session note audits to maintain quality and compliance.
  • Assist with onboarding and training new staff to uphold Aviation ABA’s standards.
  • Lead staff trainings to foster professional development and service excellence.
  • Act as a key point of contact for staff, addressing clinical and operational concerns.

Qualifications

  • Certification: Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification and UT LBA.
  • Education: Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, Special Education, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Safety Care Specialist certification (or willingness to obtain and maintain).
  • Experience: Prior ABA experience with leadership or supervisory responsibilities preferred.
  • Flexibility: Comfortable providing in-home services when required.
  • Transportation: Reliable personal vehicle for travel as needed.
