Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health counseling and support to individuals through individual or family therapy. This role requires a strong understanding of behavioral health practices, diagnostic evaluations, and effective psychotherapy techniques.

Experience / Credentials

• Master’s Degree holder in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or any related field.
• Licensed in Nevada as a MFT, MFT-Intern, CPC, CPC-Intern
• Preferred if you are enrolled with Nevada Medicaid
• Facility with DSM V
• Experienced with providing one or more of the following: Counseling, Psychotherapy, Treatment Planning, and Screening Assessment Services

Duties

• Administers therapeutic treatment services to individuals, and families.
• Completes intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, case evaluations, and crisis interventions.
• Participates as liaison with other agencies as required.
• Develops individual and customized treatment plans and Prior Authorization Requests (PARs) for assigned clients or agency clients.
• Maintains clinical records in accordance with insurance regulations and established clinical policies and procedures.
• Participates in monthly clinical staff meetings as needed.
• Remains available for after-hours telephone contact for clients in crisis.

CLINICAL EXPECTATIONS

• Provides clinically sound treatment services based on client needs and treatment plans.
• Demonstrates an understanding of diagnostic evaluation methods, mental status exams, and the DSM-V.
• Responds to a range of client needs using differential diagnoses and treatment approaches.
• Provides appropriate crisis intervention services.
• Maintains clinical records in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates an ability to work collaboratively with other community agencies on behalf of clients and/or the agency.
• Demonstrates an understanding of sound ethical practice in conjunction with the established and defined ethics of one’s training and discipline.
• Demonstrates responsibility and effective organizational and time management skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
