Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient assessment and a strong background in working with diverse populations, particularly in pediatrics. This role involves providing support and guidance to individuals and families facing various challenges, ensuring they receive the necessary resources and care. The Social Worker will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals in a hospital setting, utilizing their skills in psychotherapy, diagnostic evaluation, and applied behavior analysis to improve patient outcomes.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify needs and develop appropriate care plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to patients and their families.
- Facilitate psychotherapy sessions aimed at addressing emotional and psychological issues.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations to determine the best course of treatment for patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate care for patients, ensuring a holistic approach.
- Engage with special education services when necessary to support children’s developmental needs.
- Implement psychopharmacology strategies as part of treatment plans when applicable.
- Offer home community care services to assist patients in their living environments.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and progress.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure as a Social Worker.
- Required One of the Following : LICSW- MSW- LMHC
- Experience in pediatrics or working within a hospital environment is preferred.
- Strong skills in patient assessment, individual group counseling, and psychotherapy techniques.
- Knowledge of diagnostic evaluation processes and special education resources.
- Familiarity with psychopharmacology principles and applied behavior analysis is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
