Manager Social Work LCSW and Care Coordination Weill Cornell Days
The Social Work Manager position oversees the Care Coordinators and Social Workers in the Emergency Department and Social Work Per-diem team members. You will also lead the Victim Intervention Program which provides clinical services to survivors of Sexual Assault and Intimate Partner Violence. This work includes management and oversight of grant funding, supervision of daily operations and clinical services, to ensure compliance and quality of care. You will also lead our Master's level Social Work Internship Program.
You will work closely with interdisciplinary leadership team to enhance collaboration and ensure an excellent patient experience. You will provide clinical and administrative oversight to ensure smooth operations and work flows as patients move through the continuum of care. In this role you will provide ongoing supervision to mentor and develop staff competencies to achieve career goals. You will monitor metrics that to ensure compliance with CMS, Joint Commission and quality standards.

Preferred Criteria

$120,000-$155,000/Annual

Preferred Criteria
- Management experience in social work department
- Master’s degree in Social Work from a recognized college or university program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education
- Current NYS LCSW licensure
- At least five years of inpatient social work experience, along with proven team-building experience
