The Department of Psychology at Old Dominion University (ODU) invites applicants for a Clinical Assistant Professor to begin in Fall 2025. This is an annual 10-month, non-tenure-track appointment.
This Clinical Assistant Professor will be responsible for the following:

Job Description:
The Department of Psychology at Old Dominion University (ODU) invites applicants for a Clinical Assistant Professor to begin in Fall 2025. This is an annual 10-month, non-tenure-track appointment.
This Clinical Assistant Professor will be responsible for the following:
- Clinical oversight of students on external practicum sites.
- Administrative support to the Virginia Consortium Program Ph.D. program in Clinical Psychology, its initiatives, and its Director of Clinical Training.
- Cultivation of external practicum sites in the Hampton Roads community.
- Teaching graduate courses in the Ph.D. program and/or undergraduate courses in the Department of Psychology to support the ODU teaching mission.
- Assisting with program initiatives to reduce mental health care disparities in the community.
