Job Description:
The Department of Psychology at Old Dominion University (ODU) invites applicants for a Clinical Assistant Professor to begin in Fall 2025. This is an annual 10-month, non-tenure-track appointment.

This Clinical Assistant Professor will be responsible for the following:

• Clinical oversight of students on external practicum sites.
• Administrative support to the Virginia Consortium Program Ph.D. program in Clinical Psychology, its initiatives, and its Director of Clinical Training.
• Cultivation of external practicum sites in the Hampton Roads community.
• Teaching graduate courses in the Ph.D. program and/or undergraduate courses in the Department of Psychology to support the ODU teaching mission.
• Assisting with program initiatives to reduce mental health care disparities in the community.

There are no research requirements for this position, though there may be opportunities for research collaboration within the department.
