Join a team that's Changing What's Possible - MUSC Florence in affiliation with the MUSC's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is actively recruiting for an Adult Psychiatrist to provide services at our Leatherman Behavioral Care Pavilion located in Florence, SC

We are seeking candidates with:
  • Motivation and desire to work with an excellent multidisciplinary psychiatric care team
  • Training in an accredited Psychiatry Program
  • Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Psychiatry


Our Opportunity:
  • Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
  • 40% Inpatient; 40% Outpatient; 20% EmPATH
  • Duties include hospital rounding, outpatient services & EmPATH
  • Additional compensation for on call responsibilities at 1:3 or 1:4 with the eventual goal of minimum 1:4 call.


The candidate chosen for this role will be connected with MUSC's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Sciences in Charleston and will receive access to the division's resources, as well as clinical support from the Charleston team. MUSC Health - Leatherman Behavioral Care Pavilion is a 63-bed behavioral health hospital which includes 51 adult IP beds, 12 adolescent IP beds, 16 adult EmPATH bays, 4 adolescent EmPATH bays and outpatient services.
