Behavioral Health Solutions is a team of mental health treatment professionals who specialize in providing comprehensive behavioral health services in Skilled Nursing Facilities and through SNF, Outpatient, and Telehealth. BHS is looking for an experienced and dynamic individual to join on team! Someone who is able to multi-task, problem-solve, and deliver the best customer service to our clients in a high call volume workplace. This position has room for growth and incentives!
Job Type:
- Full-time (Monday through Friday)

Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients during the intake process.
- Collect and verify patient information, including medical history and insurance details.
- Schedule initial appointments and coordinate with healthcare providers.
- Ensure all required forms and documentation are completed accurately.
- Answer patient confidentiality and comply with healthcare regulations.
- Update and maintain patient records in AthenaOne.
- Collaborate with other administrative and clinical staff to ensure a smooth intake process.
- Performing additional tasks, duties, and assignments as specified by your supervisor.

- Clinical Expertise: Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance standards, with advanced knowledge and skills in maintaining schedules for healthcare providers.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with clinical providers, other administrative staff, and individuals outside of the organization.
- Critical Thinking: Sound clinical judgment and critical thinking skills to assess and resolve matters.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Adaptability: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, adjusting to changing priorities and needs.
- Use of Technology: Proficient in the use of a PC; in a Windows environment; in the use of the Internet; and in the use of MS Office Applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel. Proficient in the use of EHR software systems, preferably AthenaOne.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- A minimum of 1 year of Healthcare Industry experience.
- Excellent oral, written, and listening communication skills.
- Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demeanor
- Proficient in the use of a PC; in a Windows environment; in the use of the Internet; and in the use of MS Office Applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Knowledgeable in the use of EMR systems such as AthenaOne.
- Ability to adhere to strict attendance and punctuality expectations.
- Ability to attend to details ensuring accuracy promptly.
- Ability to work both independently, as well as collaboratively.
- Ability to identify and proactively solve problems
