About Job

Join a Team That’s Redefining Patient Care — Patient Implant Care Coordinator

At DFW Oral Surgeons, we’re more than just an elite oral surgery practice — we’re a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional care to our patients and concierge-level service to our referring doctors. Our modern, patient-focused practice in Flower Mound is growing, and we’re looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic Patient Implant Care Coordinator to join our team.

This role is ideal for a registered dental assistant with strong communication skills, a team-first mindset, and a drive to provide a 5-star experience at every stage of the patient journey. Previous oral surgery experience is a plus, but not required — we’re happy to train the right person with a dental background.

What You’ll Do

As a Patient Implant Care Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of our implant patient process — from initial consultations to post-op follow-ups. You’ll serve as the key liaison between our doctors, patients, labs, and referring offices, ensuring each interaction is professional, informative, and supportive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and guide patients with warmth and professionalism — in person, by phone, or electronically

  • Schedule appointments and manage the doctor’s calendar efficiently

  • Prepare and review treatment plans and cost estimates with patients

  • Collect patient payments and ensure financial discussions are clear and comfortable

  • Coordinate communications with referring offices, dental labs, and implant reps

  • Manage and track implant inventory and place orders as needed

  • Maintain accurate insurance and patient records

  • Support clinical staff in ensuring a smooth and exceptional experience for each patient

  • Always uphold patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA

What We’re Looking For

  • Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license — required

  • Minimum 2 years of clinical dental/surgical experience

  • BLS Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)

  • Strong knowledge of dental/medical terminology

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Confident, friendly, and professional demeanor

  • A team player with a proactive, problem-solving attitude

What We Offer

We value and reward our team with a competitive benefits package that supports your personal and professional well-being:

Health & Wellness

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance (includes Virtual Care)

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

  • Uniforms/Scrubs Provided

Financial Benefits

  • Competitive pay with performance-based bonus opportunities

  • 401(k) plan with company match

  • Health Savings Account (HSA) options

  • Annual merit reviews

Protection & Insurance

  • Basic & Supplemental Life Insurance

  • Spouse and Child Life Insurance

  • Short-Term Disability (Employer-Sponsored)

  • Long-Term Disability Plan

Time Off

  • Starting at 2 weeks of Paid Vacation

  • 6 Paid Holidays annually
