We are hiring RBTs in both Las Vegas and Henderson!

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Qualified applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a clean background check
  • Some college courses in general or Special Education, Psychology, Sociology or a related human services field
  • Experience providing direct supports to individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Ability to work with autistic clients in regard to age, functionality
  • Knowledge of behavioral based intervention programming and implementation
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook systems
  • Ability to utilize a fax machine, phone system, and other office materials as necessary for the position
  • Ability to respond quickly to phone calls, text messages, and emails
  • Flexible availability, ability to travel, work during the evenings and during weekends.
  • Must possess or obtain a 40 hour RBT certification and register within 90 days with the BCBA
  • Transportation that is reliable and insured in the state of Nevada (Driver’s insurance on file with HR)
  • REPORTS TO:
  • Licensed Psychologist, Behavioral Analyst, Assistant Behavioral Analyst, or RBT supervisor as assigned.

JOB GOAL:

The Behavior Technician will provide 1:1 direct ABA therapy to clients under the direct supervision of a BCBA, assist in data collection and monitoring of behavior support services; perform a variety of specialized learning techniques, communication strategies, and applied behavioral techniques; assist in modeling the use of positive behavior support and intervention techniques for parents.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand and implement a variety of interventions per each client’s outcomes and goals including specific teaching strategies utilizing the principles of behavior analysis to focus on skill acquisition in all areas as well as the reduction of problematic and interfering behaviors.
  • Report any issues or concerns regarding individual client’s interventions to the direct supervisor.
  • Maintain all data, paperwork, and communication between families, and provide ongoing feedback to all members of the team.
  • Attend all meetings and trainings required, and as necessary for the success of a client on caseload.
  • Meet with supervisor monthly or as needed to report progresses and issues with superviser. Issues of importance must be reported immediately.
  • Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
