Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality mental health counseling and support to individuals, particularly focusing on aging issues and geriatrics. The LISW will play a critical role in patient assessment, care planning, and delivering therapeutic interventions while adhering to HIPAA regulations.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide mental health counseling services, focusing on aging issues and geriatric populations.
• Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to address behavioral health concerns.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA standards.
• Offer supervision.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in social work and mental health counseling.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid LISW license in the state of practice.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Experience in aging issues counseling and geriatrics is preferred.
• Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and mental health counseling methodologies.
• Familiarity with applied behavior analysis principles is a plus.
• Ability to provide compassionate care and support for patients dealing with behavioral health challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.04 - $36.18 per hour
