About Job

About Us

Monarch Behavioral Health is a locally owned and operated, outpatient group counseling practice established in Meridian, Idaho in 2013. We are 1 large office conveniently located off the Eagle Rd exit in Meridian. While our original specialty was focused on treating children aged 2-8 using Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), we have grown to offer counseling services to all ages and most treatment needs. We offer a collaborative, fun, very supportive environment, working towards a common goal of helping the people in our community thrive. To learn more about us and our team, please visit our website at www.monarchbh.com.

We are currently seeking 1 full time therapist (minimum of 25 hrs/week) interested in becoming trained in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). PCIT is an evidence-based modality used to work with children aged 2-8 struggling with behavioral challenges. The program focuses on enhancing the parent-child relationship (both child and parent are involved in sessions) and increasing positive interactions within the dyad, which in turn promotes increased compliance and decreased defiant behaviors from the child. Please visit the UC Davis website here to learn more: https://pcit.ucdavis.edu/about-pcit/.

It is important to us that we find the right fit in a candidate that is going to undergo this training and join our team. Below are a few of the traits that we are looking for:

· Someone who is a self-starter, driven, detail oriented, personable, and open to feedback in a training environment

· Someone who has training and/or experience working with young children. Has working knowledge about the developmental stages of children

· Is comfortable working closely with a child’s caregiver (including teaching, giving feedback, and working with the parent/caregiver in a collaborative way)

· Willing to offer 25 client hours/wk, with at least 20 of those being for PCIT cases

· Has strong writing skills

· Is generally comfortable with technology/learning new technology

· Possesses a current and active LCSW, LPC, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Idaho. We also welcome upcoming graduates to apply!

Please submit a current resume for position consideration. This will be a W-2 position, paid per billable hour. For this specific training opportunity, we are offering an initial stipend during the initial training process and as you start build your caseload. We currently have a large wait list that allows us to fill schedules quickly (if desired). Starting wage is $38-$46/hr per billable hour (depending on licensure and caseload), $70 for intakes, monthly bonus opportunities ranging between $50-$150/month, paid administrative time, and paid time off (PTO). Liability Insurance paid by Monarch. Opportunity to receive Clinical Supervision from our Clinical Director. Medical/Dental/Vision benefits available after 90-days (Monarch pays for 50% of your premium) as well as supplemental insurance (AFLAC), if desired. We offer retirement matching after 1 year of employment.

Monarch is a designated National Health Service Corps (NHSC) loan repayment site. Approved NHSC participants are eligible for up to $50,000 in qualifying student loan repayment and may complete their contract through our agency. Visit www.NHSC.com for more information.
