Associate Social Worker (ASW)

Hybrid Position with some travel to Clients' Homes (Gas Allowance provided).

Responsibiles

• Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored service plans.
• Provide addiction counseling and support for individuals struggling with substance use disorders.
• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients in their recovery journey.
• Manage crisis situations effectively, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
• Collaborate with community resources, including Section 8 housing assistance and workforce development programs.
• Oversee child cases, ensuring the best interests of children are prioritized.
• Facilitate access to Medi-Cal and Medicare services for eligible clients.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and progress in accordance with agency policies.
