Instructional ABA Consultants believe every differently abled person has the right to high-quality services regardless of funding source. Clinical counseling services for adults with developmental disabilities have long-standing been an area of need. IABA seeks to add an LSW or LCP to serve the adult population at Instructional ABA Consultants to support our adult clients.

Salary Range

$40,000-$50,000 or 60/40 billable split ($30.00 hourly)

Responsibilities and Duties

Clinical Counseling (LSW)

• Provide direct counseling services to adults with developmental disabilities in their community settings
• Coordinate clinical counseling intake and waitlist process with Adult Clinical Supervisors
• Conduct initial intake evaluations to gather patient information
• Assess the client's emotional and mental health and develop treatment plans
• Counseling and advising clients on presenting issues
• Intervening with emergency care techniques and protocols when patients are in crisis
• Providing referrals for additional care or services when required
• Maintaining detailed confidential records
• Complete session notes for billing purposes on central reach
• Maintain updates of treatment plans as needed or as required
• Coordinate care and clinical recommendations with BCBA and Cila agency
• Attending and utilizing Supervision hours with Supervisor (LCSW) to gain guidance and insight to provide quality service
• Maintain RBT certification to substitute billable hours as needed
• Discharge clients when appropriate
• 25 billable hours per week for salary option
  
  

Qualifications

• Masters in Social Work
• Safety Care Certified
• LSW certification
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building/management skills
• Effective communication skills across diverse populations/audiences
• A high degree of integrity, reliability, initiative, and accountability
• Displays ownership and pride over work contributions
