Licensed Mental Health Counselor / Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LMHC/, LCSW) - $80k-$90k annual salary! Social Workers are needed for an FQHC organization in Manhattan, NY. Our client is a well-established FQHC focused on the LGBTQIA+ and HIV/AIDS population and they are seeking a Licensed Clinical Therapist with experience in substance abuse treatment to provide high-quality therapeutic services for individuals struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. The ideal candidate is compassionate, knowledgeable, and committed to fostering long-term recovery for clients.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for clients with substance use and mental health disorders.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, MI, and trauma-informed care.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with clients' recovery goals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, case managers, and peer support specialists.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary.
• Educate clients and families on addiction, coping strategies, relapse prevention, and mental health concerns.
• Stay current with best practices in addiction treatment and behavioral health.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active LCSW or LMHC in New York State.
• Must have experience working with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
• Fluency in Spanish and/or and Asian language preferred.
