Little Champs Therapy & Yoga (LCTY) is seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychologist to join our dynamic, multidisciplinary team. This position involves delivering high-quality psychological services across the lifespan, with a strong emphasis on mental wellness and emotional well-being. The ideal candidate will provide individual therapy, conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, and collaborate closely with families and clinical staff to support client growth and healing.
Key Responsibilities
- Individual Therapy: Deliver evidence-based psychological services to children, adolescents, and adults using diverse therapeutic modalities, such as CBT, play therapy, and family therapy.
- Psychological Evaluations: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including diagnostic evaluations, intellectual testing, and social-emotional assessments.
- Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs and therapeutic goals.
- Family & Parent Support: Offer guidance to families and caregivers, supporting emotional and behavioral development through collaborative consultation.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with clinical team members, including therapists, assistants, and interns, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Supervision & Mentorship: Provide supervision and mentorship to therapy assistants, interns, and students pursuing clinical experience, upholding ethical and clinical standards.
- Documentation: Maintain timely and thorough clinical documentation, including session notes, evaluations, and progress reports, in accordance with LCTY’s standards.
- Professional Development: Engage in ongoing training and education to remain current with evolving best practices, therapeutic approaches, and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Active Psychologist license in the State of Florida, or eligibility for licensure within a reasonable timeframe.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years providing therapy and psychological assessments; experience with children and families strongly preferred.
- Skills & Expertise:
- Proficiency in psychological assessment tools and evidence-based therapy methods
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and rapport-building skills
- Experience supervising clinical staff or trainees
- Competency with electronic health records (EHR) and professional documentation practices
- Certifications: Specializations in child psychology, behavioral therapy, or other relevant areas preferred.
